After completing secondary school (at Atheneum level), Frank began studying law at Tilburg University where he obtained his Kandidaats I qualification. He then went on to complete a Master’s degree (doctoraal, drs.) at Utrecht University, qualifying as a contemporary historian.

After starting his career in banking as a Management Trainee at ING Bank, he was promoted to Office Director in 1990. In 1996, Frank started working for Van Lanschot Bankiers in the private banking sector and was made General Director of the Maastricht office in 2000, with additional responsibility for business banking in Limburg.

In 1997, he completed an Executive Master in Finance (MIF) at Tilburg University/TIAS.

In 2003, he founded Delfin Executives, originally specializing in finance roles. Delfin Corporate Services was founded in 2005 with the acquisition of the trust permit from De Nederlandsche Bank.
